Final Fantasy

“FINAL FANTASY Box Set (FFVII, FFVIII, FFIX)” Listed By Multiple Retailers

Amazon.ca has listed a new Final Fantasy Box Set that includes hardcover versions of Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy VIII and Final Fantasy IX guides. Each guide comes with a ribbon bookmark and gets a special holographic cover art, and they all are secured in a slipcase with magnetic closure. Since the guides are being re-released by Prima Publishing (originally by BrandyGames), the guides have been redesigned and updated with higher quality screenshots and newly written contents.

The pricing has been set to $93.86 by Canadian Amazon. (MSRP $148.99) Other retailers such as Gamestop and Amazon.com are selling it for $129.  According to retailers’ product description, the new guide box will be available on 4th November, 2014.

Stay tuned for more information.

  1. i wouldn’t pay that much for anything, if it was just three books.
._. i mean these FF games are good, but hardcover guides kinda justify the pricing to me.
SE if want me to buy it, place “Physical” with alternate art copies of the games in the Hardcopies of the guides. in other words it is not worth a buy imo.

    • I wonder if this has any connection with PC re-releases. Final Fantasy IX is still only one that hasn’t received such a release, perhaps they are planning to port it for PC as well?

  2. Whhaaaaaattt!

Would never have thought a release for these 3 – Hard copy PS1 games and in a boxset at that – being released in today!
If I hadn’t already got 7 and 8 (and planning on getting 9 soon) – I would actually save up for this….if I can lol – if it became available for the UK….
Alas all I can do is stare and dream xD
