Square Enix has shared a new picture of Lightning’s third play-arts figurine. This time it’s in full colors! They have told that this play arts figurine has been a bit challenging to develop but now it seems like they have solved and found a way to produce them. However, the play arts is still in progress.

Whoa, love the details. The shield and boots look especially cool. Questionable fashion aside, this definitely looks the most badass out of all Lightning Play-Arts. I’m really glad my favorite character gets 3 PA figures in a row. Can’t wait until it finally comes out so I can complete my collections.
I’m surprised by how lanky she looks. Although it may be the angle of her right leg, she looks quite thin. Still, it’s impressive how they translated all of the tiny details onto the figurine.

Love everything from the waist up and the boots but come on, SE. Look at that crotch area. There’s the reason why people are disliking this costume and even though I love the overall design? Can we please stop doing battle leotards for Lightning?
And maybe boob-armor too?
Yeah… I will definitely be making use of her other costumes.
Yay I’m getting this one (this’ll b my first figurine). Hmm Lightning hard to create no way, jk. Look at the side armor piece and the way the clothing is I can c y they r having trouble to began to market it.
