Finally, we get a closer look at the beautiful package of Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII official soundtrack package! The package was shown today on a NicoNico broadcast hosted by Mitsuto Suzuki and Naoshi Mizuta but they didn’t talk about the game. iOS game, Groovecoaster was in the spotlight this time!
Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII will be released on 21st of November, 2013 in Japan and the soundtrack will be out on the same day! Here is a sample below:

Have they announce the theme song yet?
I’m sad to say that it looks like there won’t be a theme song for the game this time – at least not sang by a big artist outside Square Enix. I bet that the composers have created some epic tracks for the ending though! :)
I think the lack of a theme song is for the best, to be honest. Makes the ost more coherent.
