A few weeks ago, FF-Reunion has reported that a Final Fantasy committee has been built in order to preserve the quality of the franchise. The announced 4 members are all notable directors and producers of various past and current Final Fantasy games, and this experience should help them with the committee’s purpose in mind. It’s yet to be seen what kind of influence this will have in future titles.
- Yoshinori Kitase –Â FFVI, FFVII compilation, FFVIII, FFX series, Dissidia series, FFXIII trilogy, Type-0
- Motomu Toriyama – FFX series, FFXII: Revenant Wings, FF Crystal Chronicles series, FFXIII trilogy
- Naoki Yoshida – FFXIV: A Realm Reborn
- Hajime Tabata – Crisis Core: FFVII, Type-0, FFXV
(Keep in mind that the titles stated above are all works they’ve been involved as producers and directors)
Other pertinent and notable staff who weren’t announced amongst others include Tetsuya Nomura, who is assumably too busy in leading 2 of Square Enix’s big titles for next-gen, FFXV and KH3, and Hiroyuki Ito, who is mostly known for FFVI, FFIX, and FFXII. Perhaps they’ll announce for them to be included later on, as the committee is expected to not only consist the 4 aforementioned and announced staff.

Why did they decide to build a committe to “preserve the quality”? Although itis cool they’re going to be like the Big Four, the fact that they announced they’re building a committe makes it sound like things are scattered over there… :/
Oh yeah i heard this was gonna happen – maybe theyll be the main 4 in the group but later on more will join
