Square Enix arranged a Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Remaster & Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII fan event in collaboration with one Japanese retailer store. In the event, they let fans to play the game but also showed an inside look at development by revealing prototypes of Lightning Returns logos.
So these were the prototypes… Would you have preferred to get one of these or are you happy with the official one?

These make me smile. They remind me of 80’s fonts. The two on the left are very creative, but I like the middle and bottom ones more. I ike how they use the shadows to spell out FF XIII.
The ones in the upper left corner look really cool
