As promised we got the first look to Lightning’s new outfit before the trailer will be released on Dec 22! (next Saturday) High quality renders and screenshots will be available later.
Your thoughts about Lightning’s new outfit!? Is she ready for her final battle!?
The magazine provided new and old info about gameplay mechanics. Lightning can freely travel around the world of the game including towns and cities. She has abilities like jump and sneak and some new non-revealed ones which we will probably see in the new trailer. It’s possible to get in the battle against monsters in towns and cities so be ready to fight!
Notice: It looks like the logo of the game is included in her armor. (See l’cie brand part)

Hmmm….. – dark and medieval – interesting – like the lower half of her outfit – the top half will take some time to get used to

I’m not sure how I feel about it yet. I’d like to see it in action before I weigh in. It looks interesting though, with the exception of those things hanging from her hips. they are strange. at least it seems like she still has a cape! woo

When u said she looks like a stripper I was like what? So I took a closer look and notice her whole back was open. Im a little disappointed, but I still like the color and side armor pieces. But I still think it’s a cool outfit despite a few quirks. :)
Yeah, I just realized that too… Erm…I would say *overall* her outfit looks really cool. They really portrayed her strength with the armor, and her grace with the white sashes. I feel the black emphasizes her serious, no-nonsense personality. But I agree the skin showing around the back is unnecessary (in the top screen of her fighting, she kinda looks like Kuja!). Well, the plus is that she’s going to have 20 other outfits available. Maybe we’ll see some in the trailer.

I’m not really sure if I like it. It seems kinda evil-villainess to me rather than beautiful heroine.. Though I’m glad well be able to change her clothing ourselves.

I knew the top was going to look something like this, but the rest of the outfit blows me away. Can’t wight for this weekend (and yes she looks ready for her final battle.)

She looks a bit different, I’m just gonna attribute this to age factor. Nevertheless still hot and badass as ever. This new attire is giving me inappropriate thoughts. Looking forward to the trailer!
