So are the people who pre-ordered the collectors edition weeks before this sweepstakes announcement not eligible? I mean, we’re not going to pre-order the game twice just to get in because that makes no sense.

This is outrageous. The people who can actually get these pre-order bonuses, prize or steelbook, DLCs etc. ARE STILL COMPLAINING?
The collector’s edition has no OST CD, just a watch and an artbook? And 90 USD.
Be happy you get all those pre-order bonuses, and now to top it all off,

I think we all have the right to say what we think! There’s always room to think differently, be honest or be disappointed. But I don’t like it when people get too aggressive or too negative or start to bash others. (This wasn’t the problem with your comments though!)
Thoughts can be told in more classy and polite ways and that makes comments more enjoyable to read as well. In addition, the comments written with good behavior and arguments are being taken more seriously than ones with too much rage etc. :)

There is just one thing: I wish I could write a complaint to Square Enix Europe, just to make my statement (in a mellow decent way of course). One thing for sure is that I’m not the only one who’s actually disappointed. I google it, but couldn’t find anything.
Do you perhaps know a way to let Square Enix Europe know or anybody else?
I really do want to let Square Enix Europe know how we all feel about this.
Think about it, Final fantasy X/X-2 HD remaster will also get an exclusive NA collector’s edition. What more will come in the future, where we europeans will be missing out on…It needs to stop, right?
If no one is willing to make a point or letting them show how we feel about this, then they might probably keep doing this. I really don’t want to miss out on any future content.
I promise that I will (try to) find a way to express and tell the thoughts of the community. The situation with Europe and Lightning Returns is quite weird and I wonder what is causing this.
I start to work on it.

It is a very fair point he has made about the Collectors Edition not available to us in the EU……. i even tweeted SquareEnix directly about the lack of Collectors Edition and the preferential treatment that NA are getting and ruffled some feathers (lots of retweets and favouriting!)
Not exactly sure why SquareEnix has taken this approach to Europe as we do contribute very highly to their sales, maybe they are thinking of a slightly different approach for us….. maybe a Final Fantasy XIII Complete Collection?
Kinda wished my LR CE would have cloud strife on the steel art book, that looks amazing o.o
I will admit I’m a fair bit miffed LR CE doesnt come with OST….but I mean I got the 360 console of 13, and CE of 13-2….it just wouldnt feel right to get normal of LR to finish off trilogy lol
Although to be fair, we do get the steelbook of the original drawing of Lightning’s concept art for LR….Sot here IS that….
