New Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy DLC Features Music from Nier, Chrono Trigger and More!

It’s Time For The Final Performance!

Square Enix has released the final installment of “the 2nd Performance” downloadable content for Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy Curtain Call. The new update includes tracks from Nier, Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy Tactics, Romancing SaGa and more. Each track is priced at $0.99/€0.99.

Battle Music Sequence (BMS)

  • “real Emotion” (FINAL FANTASY X-2)
  • “Struggle to the Death” (FINAL FANTASY LEGEND II)*
  • “Devil Lord Confrontation II” (Romancing SaGa® 3)*
  • “Boss Battle 2” (CHRONO TRIGGER)
  • “Shadowlord” (NIER®)

Field Music Sequence (FMS)

  • “Corridors of Time” (CHRONO TRIGGER)
  • “Meridian Child” (Seiken Densetsu 3)
  • “Birds in the Sky, Fish in the River” (Live A Live™)

Earlier this March, the first part of the update also ncluded tracks from Nier and Chrono Tirgger, but also Final Fantasy X and Secret of Mana.

Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call is available for Nintendo 3DS. On March 26, Square Enix will be releasing a brand new installment in the series, but this time it will be focusing on Dragon Quest and its music. The Western release for this game is yet to be announced. However, Dragon Quest Heroes is schedule for release in the West later this year. It will be a PlayStation 4 exclusive title.

  1. This is such a great news! Guess, it’s time clean up my 3DS from the dust and boot it up to download some tracks! I loved Nier so much, especially the soundtrack. Its nicely twisted world and unique setting really makes me hope that we will see a sequel someday. After all, Square Enix allowed Drakengard 3 to happen and even released it in the West – and it carried the same kind of feeling as Nier. After all, it’s from the same developers.

    By the way, this new site looks amazing! Keep up the good work! :)

      Yeah, I truly hope that we will be seeing more Nier in the future. Drakengard 3 was quite a refreshing experience even though it had a small budget, but that was only visible tech-wise.

      We are preparing some new projects on this site and I will be telling more about them soon-ish. The current look isn’t completely finished yet as we are still getting used to it as well. This will be great! ^^
