Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: All-Star Carnival is launching next week in Japan! The arcade version of fan-loved rhythm game will be releasing on September 27, 2016. The game features over 80 songs and over 60 characters from the Final Fantasy universe. It has a new control scheme where the player uses two buttons and joysticks, alongside new adjustments to the gameplay. An online co-op mode will be available as well! Similar to DISSIDIA Final Fantasy’s arcade release, Theatrhythm will receive new songs, stages and characters later on.

Today, we are getting new gameplay footage featuring Blinded by Light from Final Fantasy XIII, composed by Masashi Hamauzu. During the video, you can see some minor changes in the gameplay, but overall, it follows the same routine that was first introduced in the Nintendo 3DS releases. This time around the always-kawaii chibi battles and roadtrips will be more grand!
