Final Fantasy XV Original Soundtrack Release Date Announced with A Gorgeous Limited Edition

Square Enix finally talks about the soundtrack!

For all hardcore Final Fantasy fans, the original soundtrack is one of the best parts with new entry in the series. Blessed with Yoko Shimomura’s amazing work, the fans get to enjoy the original soundtrack of Final Fantasy XV uninterrupted on December 21, 2016 when it releases in Japan. (The Western release will happen the same day or shortly after, more details soon)

There will be three releases coming: the standard CD edition (3800 yen) , Blu-Ray edition (5000 yen) and the limited edition, each featuring excessive amount of music – over 90 tracks! As you can see in the picture above, there’s the limited edition! It comes with the original soundtrack on Blu-ray, exclusive bonus tracks, a piano arrangement album, a behind the scenes documentary, a stylish packing and a booklet featuring Yoshitaka Amano’s “Big Bang” artwork. The pricing is set at 9074 yen / €79 /  £70 /  $86 for the limited edition.
