It’s not exactly called “Christmas” in the realm of Eorzea. Celebrated as an annual tradition in the 3 city states, it has been done for several generations where folks dress up in scarlet uniforms in the coldest week of the year and give out gifts to each other. This year’s seasonal event calls adventurers to solve the mystery of the missing snowmen. Rewards consist of season-themed gears such as snowmen and reindeer designs including bards for your chocobo. The Starlight Celebration commenced on the 18th, and will be available until December 31st 2013 so don’t miss it!

This event followed the release of the game’s first major patch, A Realm Awoken 2.1. Its content consists of 4×4 PvPs, the known-classic Crystal Tower, new dungeons, and many more. For more extensive information, visit the patch’s official site.
