Drakengard 3 / Drag-On Dragoon 3 / ドラッグオンドラグーン3 is an upcoming action role-playing game developed by Access Games which includes developers from The Last Story and Nier series. The game will be published by Square Enix exclusively for the PlayStation 3. In the March developers told that the game is approximately 60% complete. The western release is still unsure but hopefully we will be hearing news about it later. Take a look to our “Introducing Drakengard 3” trailer that includes all released screenshots and artwork. The music used in presentation is from Drakengard 2.
The Drakengard series’ trademark is high-speed action. The third installment will have normal land-based battles. When fighting against enemies and getting covered by blood , one of the special skills will be activated. “The Utautai Power” boosts the characters’ fighting ability to the limit. Also riding dragoons plays big part and you will be using them in the aerial battles but also on the ground when attacking different kinds of locations.
ZERO
The main protagonist of the story. She is an utautai who has an ability to manipulate magic through songs. She doesn’t care much about men and is quite violent and easily irritated. She has a arm prosthetic and a flower is growing out of her right eye.
She is Zero’s little sister and also an utautai. Her personality is serious and creative – a complete opposite of Zero. Due to their different personalities they have hard time to get along.

I hope the gameplay is just as good. Also Really?!! Again!! With the skimpy costumes which seems to be the standard for female characters!!
This is actually the first Drakengard game where the female characters have skimpy outfits. Look at Furiae, Arioch, Manah (drakengard2), and Eris. All very good outfits.
there all fucking amazing and after nier this is probaly going to be my favriot game series even more then zelda and metal gear
It’s unfortunate that the previous two games didn’t seem to go so well. This though has piqued my interest, I think it might deserve a try. :).
Its one of the unsung heroes of the PS2 in my opinion. Along with the Shadow Hearts trilogy, probably my favorite non Final Fantasy titles for PS2
It’s great that they’re coming out with more female-lead games! :)
I have briefly heard of this game but have never played any in the series unfortunately…. – i like the concept art and design of it though :)
If u get the chance, definatly do it. AMAZING games, both of them. Combat and Camera is a little blocky in the first game, but they improve on it immensly in the second.
