Interactive SD/HD Comparison Trailer for Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX Released

Square Enix has released an interactive SD/HD comparison trailer for its forthcoming title, KINGDOM HEARTS HD 2.5 ReMIX. The trailer offers viewers an interactive journey through the fully remastered graphics of KINGDOM HEARTS II FINAL MIX and KINGDOM HEARTS Birth by Sleep FINAL MIX that feature in the game.

By interacting with the HD, COMPARE, or SD buttons at the top of the video, viewers can compare the games’ original graphics on the PlayStation 2 and PlayStation Portable to the impressive new HD visuals. Viewers can also see the graphical enhancements, FINAL MIX colour palettes, and new costumes available in KINGDOM HEARTS HD 2.5 ReMIX.

KINGDOM HEARTS HD 2.5 ReMIX will release in PAL territories on 5th December 2014, exclusively on the PlayStation3. The legacy of KINGDOM HEARTS continues with three magical journeys in one package in KINGDOM HEARTS HD 2.5 ReMIX:

  • KINGDOM HEARTS II FINAL MIX
  • KINGDOM HEARTS Birth by Sleep FINAL MIX
  • KINGDOM HEARTS Re:coded (HD remastered cinematics)

  1. Looks absolutely great! – the improvements are quite clear!
    Really like the gangs new costumes in Halloween Town – i understand why they added the change – since they needed to blend into the world they were in – it would make much more sense for them to have different looks for when they entered Christmas Town :)

    • Agreed! Square Enix did well with their HD remakes and they have been the best in the industry. They scream high quality and even compete the “best looking” games of last generation. There we can thank the amazing and quite timeless art direction! :)
