Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward Benchmark is out now! The official benchmark software uses actual maps and playable characters to assign a score to your PC and rate its performance. The character creation tool is also included, allowing you to create and view playable characters as they will appear in-game. You can also select the new Au Race playable race in the benchmark. After creating your ideal character, appearance data can be saved for use when creating characters in the retail version.

You will need Windows Vista/7/8, DirectX 9 or higher, minimum resolution 1024×720 and approx. 1.6GB free space on your HDD. The benchmark is not available on Mac OS, even though the game is releasing for it on June 23, 2015. To download the Benchmark software, visit the official site. At the end of the guide, you will also find information about Benchmark scores: higher your score is, better the game will run on your computer.
