Here we go! This is the first oil painting made by Isamu Kamikokuryo in FIFTEEN YEARS! This awesome artwork is called “The City of Light” and it was first shown during the Lightning Saga special presentation this morning. Isamu spent a month to make the painting and finished it a day before it was unveiled for public.
Now we are asking: WHERE CAN WE BUY THIS?

Yes there is some platforming elements in the game. Don’t think it’s mentioned in it but here’s a good preview of the battle system. Can’t wait to see it in action!

I’m hoping we get the trailer that people saw at the conference on the 4th! Hopefully they show some gameplay in it too (and Lightning’s new design, REALLY want to see that).
The city landscape is godly, excellent perspective work and deco design, Isamu is godly in that regard it seems. Color technique seems to convey a “cold” feeling, as a kind of nostalgic or depression, excellent stuff.
In the other hand, the glaring flaw is how he works with the human anatomy, while the legs are greatly done they don’t look to have anything to do with the rest of the body or the head whatsoever but alas, the work itself is amazing and a flaw like that doesn’t kill the concept, sometimes bending the rules help the artwork to have more impact.
