Been waiting to play Lightning again, she’s one of my all-time favorite characters in the series. Looks to me like it’s going to be great, and I’m an old-school FF girl. Sick of all the whiners and haters – if you don’t like it, go spend your time on something else.
Couldn’t agree more. I wished this game and Versus could swap places, so I get to play a polished Lightning Returns later, and them Versus fanboys get a major disappointment and rushed product next year. That would be a way to say “Be careful what you wish for” lol
It’s nice to see the freedom of it. and they even gave us a little peak of her other outfits. Dem jeans were sexy. overall the battle system looks better to me. 3 paradigms that make use of separate stamina bars for each,then when one gets low you just paradigm into another and let the previious recharge….lovin it!
Luckily i saw it before SE started going around getting any videos of this removed – as it is leaked – this one is now no longer available just to let you know
My impressions though…..i guess…..its ok – idk what to say at this moment – im still interested in the game – watching it is a little different to what i was expecting – i could say that right now im not in the mood for this game so my enthusiasm isnt all that great but when it gets closer to the release and perhaps when they reveal some things – that really catch my interest – my hype for LR will peek – im gonna give it an average for now – itll change over time though :)
uhhh.. they sacked final fantasy versus 13 for this. Im really dissapointed. The there a point where something is over done and this is it. I’ll go ahead and spoil it. Shes the goddess. We got that at the end of 13-2. I would must rather have 13 versus. The outfit is atrosious. She looks like a Warrior samurai stripper. -_-
They said that versus XIII isn’t sacked but it seems to be so. Square Enix has kept us waiting for nearly seven years. :/ If they have no plan to do versus XIII, they at least put Noctis in here. His clothes totally fit the setting.
The game play looks like it’s going to b fun. But it looks like a really different set up (which was to b expected) and exactly what r they making lightning to b. I ask this cuz of her last words at the end of the clip. Still looks interesting. =)

I *thought* she looked familiar as she ran around…and you’ve got the white/red motif. I’ve been examining her costume more closely and it seems like a more “adult” version of Aqua’s outfit from BBS. Plus, Light can really rock those shades. Now she *really* looks like a time traveler!

amazing i can’t stop of replaying it, also people should know , was confirmed by the official facebook page that the in-game footage is alpha version.
-the game started development like 4 months ago.
-unlike xiii-2 this game has a whole new setting. (no recicled models)
i never expected a gameplay trailer, so i’m happy they put gameplay segments.

They didn’t sack Versus 13. It’s still going in production. even though it is taking longer than it should be, it is by no means “sacked.”

Alright! So far, so good. For some very odd reason, the trailer reminds me of Devil May Cry just by the setting and Lightning’s awesome design.
Really? It looks more like Assassin’s Creed with huge monsters and a RPG like battle system. It actually does.

It’s a bit disappointing, looks very unpolished. I’m so sad.
Because it’s not done yet. It was only 30% in September they said. It still looks great to me. I’m excited. :)
