EDIT: False alarm! Unlike the source reported, there was nothing on Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Remasters in the latest issue of V-Jump. This was confirmed by a Japanese Final Fantasy news site owner, Aibo, who got his hands on the magazine. My deepest apologize. We will be analyzing our sources better in the future even though they have been reliable earlier. Sorry.

Great news for the fans of Tidus and Yuna! Japanese readers of V-Jump have been spill the beans from the latest issue of the magazine. The new article on Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Remasters confirms the long-awaited release date of the game. FFX|X-2 HD Remasters will be exclusively released for PSVita and PS3 on December 19th in Japan. No words on the Western release date but it’s save to expect it to happen in early 2014.

I expect it to come out overseas in 3-4 months after Japan – so March or April – but im hoping sometime after LR is out – give me enough time to complete it :p
