Square Enix has announced a new album coming from Yoko Shimomura (The composer of Kingdom Hearts series and Final Fantasy XV). The new album is called “Memória” and it contains music by Shimomura from her past career. The release of the record is set to happen on 26th March, 2014.
As “Memória” will be a 25th anniversary album, there will be lots of music from Shimomura’s older project such as Kingdom Hearts, Legend of Mana, Front Mission and Seiken Densetsu [Mana] soundtracks. Also in 1994 released “LIVE A LIVE” music will make an appear on the record. All songs will be re-recorded and there will be lots of variety in arrangements as well, states the official website.
“I think this time we packed lots of different kinds songs in one record. Since each of these songs has its own direction, there will be lots of variation on the album. This creates a special feeling to it. This album, Memória, represents a quarter of a century and I was really happy with the results. I hope you will enjoy it as well.
