We’re excited to reveal the brand new logo for our site! This means we are saying farewell for the iconic pink Lightning themed logo. A moment of silence, please.

The new logo is meant to be very minimalistic which is very common for the logo designing nowadays. It’s also meant to be more timeless, iconic and recognizable. This time we also wanted to take a step closed to Square Enix logo which inspired us since we’re a news site dedicated for their games.

SQUARE PORTAL 
Very well done! Thinking about it now, I can hardly remember your old logo.
This one I think will serve the site much better. I love how the logo actually does look like a “Square Portal” while still being so simple and using the SE colours. I think this has potential to become iconic.
The only concern I can think of is that people might actually, more so, confuse this site for being run by Square Enix now. (That is with the sleek look and the logo that looks like it should be trademarked by SE and all)
