As the release of Drakengard 3 comes nearer and nearer, new info is being released more and more. Today, we take a closer look at the dragon combat and intoner mode.
DRAGON COMBAT
Zero rides Mikhail during special dragon combat sequences to engage in thrilling physical battles.
Mikhail can freely attack from the air or ground. On the ground, he can use his wings to evade incoming attacks, use his ferocious fangs to bite foes, or unleash his deadly breath attacks. (= Fire Bombs) In air, Mikhail can use his breath attacks or taking a dive to crush your enemies below.
“Speed your way through city areas while weaving between buildings, or face multiple foes in the skies to experience unique battle sequences not found on the ground.”
INTONER MODE
“Massacre enemies while singing in tune with the music.”
During the combat, the Blood Gauge fills up as Zero slashes her enemies and is doused in their blood. She can then activate Intoner Mode when her excitement reaches its apex. Intoner Mode allows you to unleash a barrage of maniacal attacks with unrivaled power. Are you ready to slay everyone?!
Drakengard 3 will be out in Europe and North America in two weeks. It’s a digital-only release in Europe, but North American players can pick up a physical copy from Square Enix NA Store or various retailers. There’s also a collector’s edition available for European fans on Square Enix Europe store.
