Last night, we posted news about multiple retailers listing “Final Fantasy Box Set (FFVII, FFVIII, FFIX)” on their sites. Apparently, the guide box set already made an appearance at San Diego Comic Con, and our reader Chris was nice enough to take a picture and share it with us!

Each guide comes with a ribbon bookmark and gets a special holographic cover art. They are secured in a slipcase with magnetic closure, which can be seen in the picture above. Since the guides are being re-released by Prima Publishing (originally by BrandyGames), the guides have been redesigned and updated with higher quality screenshots and newly written contents.

According to retailers, the special edition box will be available on 4th November, 2014.
