Time sure flies as Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn reaches its 1st anniversary soon on the 27th of August. With its phenomenal success as a reboot of the 14th main-numbered title of the franchise, Square Enix is celebrating its anniversary through a series of events both in and outside of the game. These events consist of a 14-hour anniversary broadcast, seasonal and community events within the game, and the return of crossover events from Final Fantasy XI, Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII, and Dragon Quest X. Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn will also be showcased at this year’s Gamescom, PAX Prime, and TOKYO GAME SHOW. Furthermore, a free log-in week will also be held from August 22 – September 1! Guess ima be that one guy that shows the love for this MMO. I been on it since re launch day. I have never played a FF MMO until this one and i must say so far it has been a great experience. i been playing it like and alcoholic, but don’t worry i been doing some absented rehab. after taking a 6 moth break and coming back. though the community changes it doesn’t really phase out that the game is very fun to play with others. As well as introduce fans of FF to FFXIV ARR if it is there first MMO.
