Deus Ex: Mankind Divided takes place in 2029, two years after the events of Human Revolution and the infamous ‘Aug Incident’ in Panchaea that resulted in the death of millions at the hands of those who had installed augmentations. This event has created a huge divide between those who have augmentations, and those who do not. Amongst this emotional turmoil are various factions looking to manipulate the public by twisting public opinion of augmentation to further their own agenda and hide the truth of what really happened.

When the game first premiered in early April 2015, Square Enix told that the release date for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided will be announced at a later date. In addition, the game is getting the gameplay world premiere at E3 and perhaps even the release date / release window! This time we are asking for this!

Rise of the Tomb Raider

In her first adventure, Lara Croft was forged into a true survivor, but she glimpsed a deeper, secret world. Obsessed by what she has seen, Lara is now threatened by a shadow organization intent on killing her for what she knows. She is pushed to her physical and mental limits as she seeks the truth buried deep within the tombs of an ancient world. To unravel the mystery of a Lost City, Lara must use her survival skills and wits, learn to trust new friends, and ultimately accept her destiny as the Tomb Raider.

Rise of the Tomb Raider is also getting its gameplay world premiere during E3 2015. Currently the game is only in development for Xbox One and Xbox 360, scheduled for release in Holiday 2015. In the upcoming days, we will most likely get the official release date with new gameplay footage, pictures and trailers.

Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn’s upcoming expansion pack – Heavensward – will debut on June 23rd, 2015 – with early access starting this Friday! At the same time, Square Enix will be launching the long-awaited Mac version of the game. Heavensward is described as a standalone RPG experience and it will introduce new zones that are approx. 1.5 times bigger than the current Eorzea, flying mounts such as chocobos, single-rider airships and dragons, three new jobs, hardcore raids and more.  The last live letter before the release will be airing at E3. The developers will be discussing about the final details such as how the new loot system works.

Ready to explode everything once again? The Mediterranean republic of Medici is suffering under the brutal control of General Di Ravello, a dictator with an insatiable appetite for power. In Just Cause 3, the player will take the role as Rico Rodriguez, a man on a mission to destroy the General’s hold on power by any means necessary. With over 400 square miles of complete freedom from sky to seabed and a huge arsenal of weaponry, gadgets and vehicles, prepare to unleash chaos! At E3, there will be over 20 minutes gameplay show for the press but you can expect more footage being shared with the general public!

When a dark shockwave sweeps through the city of Arba, the monsters that once lived alongside the people in peace are driven into a frenzied rage. As either the hero, Luceus, or the heroine, Aurora, the player joins forces with a cast of iconic cast from previous Dragon Quest titles, such as Alena, Bianca and Yangus, to bring the rampaging hordes of monsters to their senses and to restore order to the kingdom.

This is the setting for Dragon Quest Heroes: the World Tree’s Woe and the Blight Below, which will be playable at the SQUARE ENIX booth at this year’s E3. The game will be available for the PlayStation 4 on October 13, 2015. Square Enix will most likely show us the first ever English trailer during their E3 press conference.

Star Ocean 5 follows a story of Fedel Camus, a talented swordsman who’s working as the guardian for his hometown’s government. Other protagonist, Miki Sorvesta, is Fedel’s great childhood friend and they feel like siblings to each other. When it comes to fighting, Miki is very gifted with healing abilities. There’s also a mysterious girl Lilia who has lost all her emotions and memories from the past. What’s her story?

The setting asks the player: “Do the depths of space forbid peace for mankind?” Centuries ago, humanity had left Earth and they almost succeed at creating “Galactic Federation” where the whole mankind would have united and lived in peace. However, this naive dream of peace is soon shattered as opposite sides drift into another conflict. The future which once seemed certain is now in danger once again. It’s time for a new beginning.

The developers of Star Ocean 5 have already teased that the game will be at E3 2015, which kinda already confirms the release in Europe and North America. Similar to Dragon Quest Heroes, it might only end up being a PS4 exclusive in the West.

Bravely Second takes place a few years after bringing peace to Luxendarc. Agnes Oblige has become the newly inaugurated Pope of the Crystal Orthodoxy and works to bring peace between Eternia and Crystal Orthodoxy. The dream of peace is soon shattered when she gets kidnapped by Emperor Oblivion – right before she was meant to participate in the peace treaty ceremony. The future which once seemed certain is now in danger. This is where Magnolia Arch, Yu Zeneorshia, Jean Engarde and Nikolai Nikolanikov step in! Now Edea Lee is assisting the new heroes during their journey as well.

A few weeks ago, Bravely Second was announced for the West during Nintendo Direct event. The game is scheduled for release in 2016 where as the Japanese version was released in last April. E3 would be a good place to release a new English trailer for the game!

This title is our “every year E3 veteran” that appears in almost every news outlets “These games may be revealed at the show X” rumors / articles. Let’s be real here: E3 without Final Fantasy VII Remake rumors would be like Christmas without Santa Claus: people want to believe they both exist, when they really don’t. Like every year, this year we have enough clues to suggest the remake is  truly happening this time – like the upcoming 20th anniversary, new figures and the biggest troll of last year: Final Fantasy VII port arriving for PS4.

Recently, Square Enix told their investors that the company is planning to continue and strengthen its existing IPs. A few years, Chrono Trigger developers showed their interests in continuing the old yet very respected game series. In addition, Chrono Trigger is celebrating it’s 20th anniversary this year! And naturally, Square Enix added fuel to the fire by using Chrono Trigger music in their new “E3 Hype” video. (Please don’t watch it, too awkward) Perhaps it’s time for another time traveling adventure? What do you think?

The director Hajime Tabata already announced their plans to skip E3 since the Western Square Enix wasn’t fond of the team’s idea of making a new trailer with old footage as a recap. Don’t be disappointed, though! The game will be at gamescom 2015 when we will be seeing truly brand new footage with new details. And honestly, do we even want new trailers so soon after Episode Duscae overdose? The demo 2.0 should be enough to stop your thirst for two months! Please be excited!

It’s already known that we are going to get brand new Kingdom Hearts III details with new footage later this year. But why would Kingdom Hearts III skip E3 when Square Enix could generate easy hype there? Let’s also consider how much the Japanese console and game sales are suffering, it would be wiser to show the game for the main audience – the Western gamers. Disney might be eager to share new footage at the major event as they own the IP. Perhaps we should just let it go…

There are plenty reasons why many fans are looking forward to this game’s HD remaster. One of the most important reasons could be the fact the game isn’t currently playable on any other platforms than PS2 and the very first PS3 models – which barely any of you play actively or own anymore. This is very different to other Final Fantasy titles that are available either on smartphones or as downloadable titles on digital stores. Even the brand producer, Shinji Hashimoto has addressed the issue and Square Enix is already working on reintroducing their older IPs and strengthening their brand value – with all these HD remasters for Final Fantasy Type-0 and Final Fantasy X & X-2, Final Fantasy XII HD  would be the logical next move.
