Final Fantasy XV is in development for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The team is currently aiming to release the game in 2016, but the release date isn’t officially announced yet as they aren’t 100% sure are they able to make it happen. This is why Square Enix has decided to not announce any dates yet as they want to avoid further delays. It’s worth-noting that Final Fantasy XV (not Versus XIII) has been in a development just a bit over two years. It’s an average time for bigger game releases to stay in development after (re)-reveals. I’m thinking that they’ll reveal the release date when it’s about 70-75% complete – hopefully by the end of the year – perhaps at the same event/time when they’ll announce the same for the FF7 Remake – but it is good to know that it’ll come in 2016
I’ve always assumed that it would come out at the end of next year – beginning of 2017 at the latest – guess i was spot on :p
