“Chun-Li” Artwork from Street Fighter V [PS4]
On August 30, DWANGO (telecommunications & media company) arranged “Ultra Street Fighter IV” Tournament where twenty-eight technology and game companies, including Square Enix, competed against each other.
The e-sports inspired tournament was streamed through NicoNico (Japanese counterpart to Youtube and Twitch) and it had more than 120 000 viewers! After eight hours of drama, tears and laughs, the winner was found and it turned out to be the member of Square Enix’s team. The runner-up was from KLab Co., Ltd.
Street Fighter V is now in development for PlayStation 4.
