Square Enix announces changes to the disk space requirements for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn on all platforms as Patch 3.2 rolls in February 2016. If you already are a Heavensward or all-in-one package user, this announcement doesn’t affect you.
The disk space requirements Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn will increase on all platforms with the release of Patch 3.2. This is due to the fact that the development team has added a substantial amount of content to the game since the launch back in Fall 2013.
The new requirement will differ on each platform. You can view the updated disk space requirements outlined below and ensure your console or computer has enough storage left. If your platform doesn’t have enough storage space available at the release of Patch 3.2, you will be unable to launch Final Fantasy XIV.
Final Fantasy XIV is now available for Windows, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. (The mac version isn’t currently available for sale)
