Square Enix has released a brand new trailer for Gunslinger Stratos 3 – a competitive third shooter developer for arcade and pc platforms. The game series first debuted on arcades in 2012, with sequel following in 2014 and third part releasing this Spring in Japan. Gunslinger Stratos: Reloaded is currently under beta testing and will be released for PC later this year.
In addition to the game, there’s an anime adaptation of the game, Gunslinger Stratos: THE ANIMATION, which premiered on April 4, 2015. The opening theme is “Vanilla Sky” by Ayano Mashiro and the ending theme is “Mirai” by Garnidelia.
The Gunslinger Stratos world is set in 2115, a time when Japan has been split into two parallel worlds known as Frontier S and the 17th Far East Imperial City Management District. These two universes don’t get along well, but suddenly they start to fuse into one, which initiates the Operation Stratos – a huge operation wherein a group of warriors is sent to the past to eliminate a group of enemies who look exactly like them – after all it’s just you in the parallel universe. When the enemy is eliminated, their world will be destroyed and erased from history. Would you be ready to do this?
