Today at Game Developers Conference, Square Enix has announced that “I AM SETSUNA” will be released for PS4 and PC this summer in Europe and North America. The game is developed by Tokyo RPG Factory – a new studio founded by Square Enix. 

Led by director Atsushi Hashimoto, Tokyo RPG Factory aims to capture the narrative depth, impactful storytelling and masterful character development inspired by the golden era of Japanese role-playing games and bring them to current hardware and technology. With a battle system inspired by the classic hit Chrono Trigger I AM SETSUNA brings back basic RPG gameplay, beautiful art design and a sorrowful story to the new generation.

The game was released last month in Japan. The official website‘s Instagram link accidentally directs the visitor to an unpublished collector’s edition site, meaning one may be announced sooner or later. Stay tuned for more.
