The winners of the gamescom award 2016 have been announced! At the award ceremony, international expert jury had selected the 73 nominated products and games from over 200 entries to the most coveted prize of the European gaming industry. And it turns out that Final Fantasy XV has received “Best Role-Playing Game” award from Gamescom 2016! Congrats to the development team!

Earlier this week, Square Enix announced that Final Fantasy XV is delayed and is now releasing on November 29, 2016. Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy will be available digitally on August 30, 2016. Brotherhood: Final Fantasy XV will also follow its digital release schedule, but both movie and anime’s physical disc release dates remain open.
