The Chaos Rings Series Debuts on PSVita
Square Enix has announced the Chaos Rings series will be making its debut on PSVita later this year, when Chaos Rings III: Prequel Trilogy is released for the platform. Alongside Chaos Rings III Prequel Trilogy, Square Enix will be releasing Chaos Rings III for iOS and Android devices. The differences between these two version remain unknown, but they both will be released in Japan on 16th October.
Square Enix has announced Noriyasu Agematsu will be composing the original soundtrack of the game. Once the official site is launched this week, it’s very likely they will be adding new samples from the soundtrack to the site.
The new screenshots are featuring new areas, characters and the first look at the battle system. Like the previous entries in the series, Chaos Rings III will be featuring a turn-based battle system, where you are controlling all characters at the same time. As stated earlier, the Japanese press release didn’t reveal much information, but we will be getting more details later this week when the official site is launched on 7th August.
The PSVita version will be getting a special packing, which contains a cardbook with two pictures by Yusuko Naora (the character designer) and Reo Obata, a soundtrack sampler, a novel and the game.
Stay tuned for more information.
